ADDMind (“ADDMind,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Cure Consulting Group, LLC, a Delaware LLC with its principal place of business in the United States. You can reach us at info@addmind.app.

This Privacy Policy explains what information ADDMind collects when you use the ADDMind iOS app (the “App”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

ADDMind is currently offered only to users in the United States. We do not knowingly serve users outside the U.S.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

Account credentials. If you create an account, we collect your email address, a password (which we never see in cleartext — it is hashed by Firebase Authentication), and an optional display name.
Content you create in the App. Brain dumps, tasks, micro-steps, focus session data, energy check-ins, preferences, notes. This is the data that makes the App work for you.
Support communications. If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply and improve the App.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Device information. Model, OS version, app version, locale, time zone.
Diagnostic and crash data. Stack traces and non-personal context collected via Firebase Crashlytics.
Usage events. Anonymized events such as “brain dump submitted,” never the content of your entries.
Push notification token. If you grant notification permission, Apple gives us a token so we can send reminders.

1.3 Information we do not collect

We do not request access to your camera, photos, location, contacts, or HealthKit.
We do not track you across other apps or websites and do not use any third-party advertising SDKs.
We do not collect biometric data or voice recordings (voice transcription runs on-device).

1.4 Explorer mode (anonymous use)

You can use ADDMind without creating an account. Your data stays on your device until you choose to create an account, at which point your Explorer data is preserved under your new account.

2. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

Provide and operate the App’s core features.
Authenticate you and protect your account.
Process your subscription via Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
Generate AI-powered features (see Section 4).
Send notifications you have opted into.
Diagnose crashes and improve product quality.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to train AI models.

3. How we store and share information

Your account data and content are stored in Google Cloud Firestore in U.S. regions. Crashlytics, Analytics, and FCM (push) are operated by Google and processed in Google’s U.S. infrastructure. Apple processes your in-app purchase information.

We do not share your personal information with anyone else except (a) when you explicitly direct us to, (b) when required by law, or (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, in which case we will notify you in advance.

4. AI features and your content

ADDMind uses Google Vertex AI (Gemini family) to categorize brain dumps, generate micro-steps, and produce short encouragement messages. Per Google Cloud’s terms governing Vertex AI, your prompts and outputs are not used to train Google’s foundation models or improve Google’s services for other customers. AI outputs may be inaccurate — we treat them as suggestions, not advice. ADDMind is not a substitute for medical or mental-health care.

5. Data retention

Account data and user-generated content: retained until you delete your account in Settings. Backups persist 30 days after deletion, then are permanently purged.
Focus presence pings: 5 minutes (server-side TTL).
Analytics events: 14 months from collection date.
Crash reports: 90 days from collection date.
Subscription receipts: kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years).

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you live in the U.S., you can:

Access the data we hold by emailing info@addmind.app.
Correct inaccurate data via the App or by emailing us.
Delete your account in Settings → Delete Account, or email us.
Export your data in a machine-readable format from Settings → Export My Data.
Opt out of analytics or crash reports from Settings → Privacy.

6.1 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA. To exercise CCPA rights, email info@addmind.app. We will respond within 45 days.

7. Children

ADDMind is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use ADDMind only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices: TLS in transit, Firestore security rules scoped per user, hashed passwords via Firebase Auth, short-lived tokens. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs, we will notify affected users without undue delay as required by law.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will (a) post the updated policy at www.addmind.app/privacy with a new “Last Updated” date, and (b) show an in-app notice the next time you open the App.
